Ben Randall (Kevin Costner) is a famous swimmer in the Coast Guard. After losing his crew in a crash, he is sent to teach at an elite school for Coast guard rescue Swimmers. there he meets a young swimming champion Jake Fischer (Ashton Kutcher), and decides to teach him.
